I need a stepup transformer for some ESL headphone I bought.
Anything that would have a good 20-20khz response and not cost too much. Power rating isn't really that necissary.

You might look for an adapter from some of the older stax, koss, or other brand headphones. The relatively delicate phones get destroyed and then people are left with the adapter box that contains the bias supply and audio transformers.

They are Beyer Dynamic ET1000's. I bought them off of ebay as is, and I am really hoping that they are working! LOL.

No knowledge or experience of the Beyers sorry. Apart from a breif period with a set of Sennheiser electros in the early 80's I've owned and used STAX's since my SR44's in about 1980. Mainly lambda Pros and currently SR404.bjackson said:
