So, is Elmer's PVA based ? Maybe this has been discussed here but did not find a clear answer. Working on a new diaphragm for my 988. Thanks.
Elmer's is a PVA (polyvinyl acetate) glue. I've heard of it being used as a diaphragm coating but I don't know how well it works or whether any dopants or dilution are required. Hopefully someone will post a PVA diaphragm coating recipe. Personally I would opt for Licron Crystal; although it's not cheap.
Yet another one is water based
