Hello.
I bought I projector with lamp life almost over, because I had idea of just replacing it with new one,but then my adventurous spirit woke up and I'm starting to search for other methods.
I have read this forum quite a lot but I still have some questions for the guys here.
1) What about the heat of the original lamp, compared to the ones from car or other similar alternatives? Is it necessary to have and additional cooling?
2)What are the best alternatives to the burners?
I was thinking about something like this
SpectraStar EJL Projector Bulb Lamp 200W 24V NIB - eBay (item 270326293970 end time Dec-26-10 05:08:19 PST)
but then comes question about heating - would that be the problem?
3)In the end,If I do not find working alternative and decide to go for bulb mate for the projector. When I change only the burner-I need to fix it with cement. But the ones that comes with the reflector-are they already fixed and I need only to swap it with the original?
4) What about other lamps that are made for different model commercial projectors but just are cheaper - if the sieze is the same and the Watts,Lumens. Should it be ok and work normally?
Thanks in advance for reading and answering
