ENX vs FXL

Hi, I am a noob when it comes to overhead projectors and am looking to get to work on a DIY projector. I have been looking at a few projectors and bulbs and noticed that one website says that ENX bulbs can be a replacement for FXL. Is this true? Would the opposite be true as well? I am looking at a projector that takes ENX bulbs and would like to increase its light output, which I think an FXL bulb would accomplish. (good assumption?) Is it a direct fit, or do I need any adapters, also can most projectors handle giving more power to the bulb? Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

The ENX is a 360w bulb and lasts 75 hrs. FXL is a 410w bulb and lasts about 50 hrs. I think it depends on your OHP, but in mine (apollo 2210) with an ENX I get 3,000 lumens, and with a FXL I get 4,000 lumens. Just make sure you don't pay more than $10 for either one. Hope this helps.
