I bought a set of enable kit to enable my speakers. Instead of doing the whole thing which I probably won't have time and patient to do, will I hear any improvement by just applying the chemical from the two bottles. Thanks.
Are these your valued, daily-listening kind of speakers, or just something to play around with?
I would caution against making any such modifications, especially if you do not intend to follow the kit instructions entirely. Even if you perform all the steps to the letter, there is still some debate over weather or not you will have any performance gains at all.
Adding coatings to the cone will change the driver's specifications, and there is the possibility this would be for the worse. By all means experiment, but I would suggest you only do so if you are willing to risk degrading the performance of the system in question.

What speakers?
To be effective, you must follow the receipe.
And one should practice on beaters before tackling the good driver.
