I have a good friend in Philadelphia PA area that needs to have his Emu Drumulator 7000 checked out. From his description of the problem most likely needs a PS rebuild. I would do it but I moved and in the process of setting up my gear.
If anybody knows a Tech in the Philly area that is skilled and familiar with rebuilding PS please reply to post or send me a PM. Unit is from 1983 not beat up one owner.

ANy competent technician can rebuild power supplies - it is basic fundamental electronics.
WHo would he trust to work on his amps or mixers or other audio gear?

Yea I get it but he is having trouble finding a good tech that won't rip him off. He is a musician not a tech head, a referral to a good tech would be helpful, stating the obvious is not. I was hoping that a member in the Philly area would see the post and run with it or refer me to a good competent tech.
