I have a really powerful and rare Emotiva XPR-2 "class H" reference amp I'm putting up for local sale in Pacific NW.
This is a massive amp and I am selling simply because I don't use it anymore. It's been sitting in my home since I've owned it and covered up most of that time so hasn't been exposed to any dust. I hooked it up a couple weeks back and it still plays thumpin' tunes with no issues. There's a couple of cosmetic scuffs on top where the anodization was scraped away from previous owner. Other than that, it's in great physical shape. 600W into 8 ohms, 1000W into 4ohms! It requires a dedicated 20A outlet with the appropriate 20A prong design (Note: the power cord won't plug into a standard 120V/15A US outlet as one AC prong is perpendicular do the other).
When I first hooked this up to my Aerial 9's and cranked it up, I blew out one of the woofers on the Model 9's it was so powerful. I don't need this sort of power, so I'm ready to finally let it go. It's rare for these to be available and I'm asking $1700 for the amp with local pick up only as this thing weighs in at 100lb. I'm sorry, no shipping and I don't have the original box as I'm the second owner. I'm happy to demo for local buyer in Seattle area. I also have an Emotiva preamp for anyone interested.
I'll eventually post this on other forums and starting here first for a few weeks for diyaudio folks to get first dibs on.
If you want more info on the amp.
