I'm replacing the wimpy, outdated, low BL, low Xmax woofers in my Infinity RS 2.5s, and I'm guessing the (unpublished) sensitivity of the speaker as whole is around 85 dB, but there are padding resistors and pots on both the EMITs and EMIMs, so I was wondering what the native sensitivity of those drivers is. I'm guessing both were padded down to match the low sensitivity of the Watkins poly woofer, and that if I remove all the resistive padding I could go with a higher sensitivity woofer and raise the sensitivity of the whole system. Thanks in advance to anyone who chimes in with useful information.
