- had 12LTA in a leftover short line - hit like a sledgehammer? - naw my Karlson's could do >10X that much hit - but 12LTA was fun on the cheap augmented with various helper tweeters - look at the APT50 copy firing upwards into a slotted styofoam cup - that was my fave:)

Impedance with 44 sq. inch vent - lower peak seems attenuated partly due to some fill in pipe

Sorry Freddi, Pics embedded in your post broken? Or just not working today.
I've seen the your cup piccy before, so I think I know which one you refer.
Styrofoam horns and K's being my obsession of the moment anyways...

I always thought the stuffing absorbed and released heat? Thus taking the
temperature fluctuations with pressure out of the airspring. Reducing Chuck
& Bob (Charles law + Boyle's Law) to just one or the other. I forget which is
which... Adiabatic or some such techno-terminology for it.
