More of a frustration rather than an actual forum 'issue'.
I'm noticing some forum members embedding images for other members attachments into follow-up posts. This practice forces the image to download at the full size and often requires a page reload to scale those images properly. This means that many threads are becoming difficult to read and ultimately off-putting overall. For a current example look to the following thread:
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/solid-state/292226-directory-apex-audio-amplifiers.html#post4733002
Not everyone has blazing fast internet speeds and the continued proliferation of this practice is making some threads unbearable to access despite them containing much that is of interest. Is it possible to restrict such activity or at least officially shun the practice?
Apologies if this is more rant than problem report.
