I gave you plenty of notice of my change in Email account.
You have sent an Email to my old address that fortunately has not yet closed down.

Andrew, change of email address is something YOU do in your forum control panel. After foing do you will get an email to your new account from the forum that asks for you to clik a confitmation link. It is all automated from the forum emd.

Planet I have already changed my email address. That was about two weeks before my existing provider planned to stop providing.
I am now about 3 weeks after they threatened to close and today when I returned home I found a DIYAUDIO Email to my old address.

This is why I asked was the email from a different "part" of the site. I've just checked my old BT address and the newsletter has appeared there for me also (time stamped Friday 17.45)
I'll see what I can find out.
Why should we need to search for rogue locations of our Email addresses?
This is a Forum Problem, just as the Thread title asks.

And having posted your question on the Forums Problem Thread, you now know how to resolve the issue.
if I go to user CP, and click on edit your details, the first I notice is edit email & pass word
or is that different ?
or is that different ?
It seems it is different. The mailing lists appear to be a separate entity. Don't know if its handled by the vBulletin software or not tbh.

Completely separate systems - there is currently no live interaction between the forum database of email addresses and the mail out software database, except to add new subscribers at the moment they join the forum.
Sorry we don't have anything better than that.
As mentioned, there are several links in the bottom of newsletters to adjust all your subscriptions - please use them until we have some whizz bang system that auto updates. Currently it's a real pain to sync the systems because if an email address has changed, there's no way to tell if the old email has unsubscribed and the new one should be subscribed, etc...
I've updated this page so there is an easy link to enter your new address into the newsletter system (no way to know the special code to unsubscribe, but I assume that's the least of your problems!) 🙂

When I opened my new Email this morning, I found the newsletter waiting for me.
Thanks.
Looks like someone intervened manually and Jason's update covers for others that change Email address.
