Well boys here is another another bypass thread 😛
Ive got a DLP projector a Emachine V700. I would absolutely love to bypass the ballast.

The wires between the Ballast and Mobo.
No lamp:
1. White 5v
2. Yellow 0v
3. Red 5v
4. Black 2.59v
5. Brown 5v
Lamp on:
1. White 0.2v
2. Yellow 0v
3. Red 5v
4. Black 3.8v
5. Brown 5v
What I have tried.
Shorting the optocouplers the single one facing the other way, also all of them at once.
Grounding each wire from above to a screw/ground.
everything results in lamp failed to strike beep/flash
Im starting to wonder if its possible on this progector
