Hi.
I have a few old and used ELMA rotary switches that looks like the one shown here:
http://uk.farnell.com/elma/01-1123/switch-1-pole-12-pos/dp/1876074?MER=bn_level5_4NP_LastViewed_2
The odd thing is that pos12 cannot be reached! there is a solder-eye marked "12", but there are only 11 mechanical positions. This goes for 3 of the switches I have and they look to be in great shape otherwise. A switch with slightly different color actually do have 12 positions.
I realize that there is a 11position version of the switch, but as far as I understand the datasheet, these do not have the "12-pos" solder-eye installed.
Is there some trick I dont get, or is it actually just an 11-pos switch?
Kind regards TroelsM

As far as I can tell there is no endstops installed. I have some end-stops, and when installed they work as expected.
