Great to hear that, Mazzer. Thanks to the smooth transaction and I'm grateful to the couriers (Canada Post and USPS) for ensuring seamless delivery.

However, I always look forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions. I appreciate your input.

Yes, "rayma".

The tags are "Tinned Copper Terminals". Hopefully two photos can express it better than words can. The caps can be soldered or fixed on PCB.
However, since the larger area tags dissipate heat efficiently, a higher temperature soldering iron makes the job easier.

Thanks,
Joe

Thank you for sharing, 'mazzer". Your experience is invaluable. The crocodile clip helps prevent excessive heat goes in to the cap during soldering process. Plier is also handy for this job.

"mdpaudio", please feel free to ask questions and be a happy user.

Tempted; hadn't seen this post until your bump.

Do you have a good stock to go.

Could you let me know the shipping costs to the UK; not sure what quantity I'd need for later, but I guess shipping could end up being a significant proprotion of the total.

Whats the most secure way of mounting these; screw down onto a piece of FR4 with a ring lug.

Thanks for your inquiry, gupsta.

I have some in stock for your consideration.

For example, a package of 18 pieces measuring 10"x6"x6", 3 lbs. = US$24 mailed to SW1A 1AA (the postal code for Buckingham Palace, London). FYI, the same package shipped to the Western US is $20 and about $26 to the Eastern. All postage include $74 insurance.

That is a great way to mount them on the FR4 using ring lugs and bolts.
