I have a number of Kendeil and ALS20A electrolytic capacitors that I bought some time ago and have stored for a number of years, mostly unused.
I looked at the makers web sites to see how they recomend reforming them and on the Kendeil web site found pages and pages and pages... of technical information on electrolytic capacitor manufacture, storage, useful life, failure rate, reanodisation, etc.

For those who prefer a quick summary the main information provided is as follows;
1) Useful life: >100,000 hours at a temperature of 55 C or less.
2) Storage: No reduction in reliability if stored below 50 C or less.
3)Reanodisation: After extended storage, of more two or three years, reanodisation is required. This is achieved by applying the rated voltage for a period of 1 hour. A current below 5ma is recomended.
