Electrocompaniet ECI 5 MKII help

Hello!

First of all I would like to thank you for the space given by the forum so that we can answer our questions. And I already apologize if this post is in the wrong place. This is my first post on this forum.

I am the second owner of an Electrocompaniet integrated amplifier (ECI 5 MK II), which about 01 year ago started intermittently failing one of the channels, along with a small audible buzzing near the loudspeaker, as if it looked like poor cable contact. ..

After a few days this ceased, and lasted almost 01 year without problems. A couple of weeks ago, the same defect (sound failing with buzzing) flashed again: now the sound is no longer failing, but the whezzing remains direct.

I took it to a technician who, through the use of an oscilloscope, said that maybe the problem is in the power part of the problematic channel, but didn't want to try to fix it without the schematics. The EC said there is no chance to send it to me, and in my country (Brazil) there is no more official representation or authorized technical assistance from the EC.

I was told that there are people here who know a lot about EC ... could someone help me in any way? Would anyone have the ECI 5 MKII schematics/service manual?

Best regards,

Daniel

I serviced one 6months ago... main capacitors were swolen - little blown on the top. I think 4 of 8pcs. Also Transformer start to buzz... The thing that really scared me was when i wanted to unsolder the 8 big capacitors. I was shocked. I think that caps were soldered in luqid solder bath because tin blobs were so big that on some places i had feeling that they have made conntact between 2 pins. It was under the cap side so not vissible before i unsolder them. Unsoldering was very hard.... Also pcb on driver stage was discoloured because of the heat, maybe dry joint is on that place.
