Hello!
I am just wondering, that driver connection pins are T1 and T2, which one is the positive connector?

ok calibrated mic and a one shot pulse (i've also used thin cellophane tape sealed over the driver outlet to detect deflection)
which driver do you have?

My drivers are 1824M. the tape were a good idea. I wil try with that. Maybe i can see diaphragm movement. Thank you!
It's amazing what a web search turns up...😉

Problem solved, i put thin plastic foil on to driver outlet port and with battery i could see movement direction.
Plus connector was T1, you cant never know, if somebody has replaced diaphragm opposite direction. This method shows polarity very easy.
Thank you Mr, Turk 182

yes, we did. I still remember the days when I had to call EV on the phone, and they would put the tech sheets in an envelope and mail them to me. None of this modern day google stuff with information right on my screen.
The L1, L2 convention refers to how the coil is wound and its relationship to the magnet structure.
On compression drivers there are two basic relationships between the phase plug and the diaphragm.
Western Electric (555), Atlas, and University are examples of the L1 positive construction, Western Electric (594), Altec and JBL are examples of L1 negative construction.
