I just recently came across some Elan Z660 amplifiers and wanted to used them for my whole house audio using sonos to drive them. I tested the amplifiers and it seems that on one channel 2 plays really low and on the other 2 channels 2,4,6 don't play. Dose anyone one have any experience with these? I dont see anything burnt on the board, it seems that there are 2 separate output boards. Any help would be greatly appreciated to guide me to fixing these. If iam in the wrong section please let me know.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I think you will have a bigger chance on getting feedback if you post your question in the "Amplifiers/Solid State" section.
I can't help you since I'm more of a tubes person.

Moved to Solid State.

Your second picture shows transistors on the heatsink with white goop (thermal compound) all over the place. a sure sign that someone has been working (repairing?) in there.
Ok would a faulty transistor cause a channel to play low? Or would it be something before or after?
Usually low due to faulty electrolytic capacitors or broken signal circuits (bad contacts, wires, switches, sockets)
It is necessary to pass sequentially from the output (IC input) to the volume control). Apply a signal through a capacitor from a generator or telephone. The other end is on a common wire.
Check the DC voltage at the outputs with a multimeter.
