Here is the $3 D3a near equivalent. (maybe upgrade actually)
9KC6 with +24V on grid3. Curves: 50V/div Horiz., 10 mA/div Vert., 0.15V grid 1 steps, at +150V on g2. (note the lower "knee" voltage here too.)
The gm around 36000 at 20 mA. (by changing Vg3 between +13V and +24V one can adjust the amount of 2nd harmonic in the curve set, a nice tune-able option.)
Triode Mu factor around 54.
It's near a 12GN7, but with a dense grid3. Plate Watts up-rate to about 9 Watts with +24v on G3. (current on g2 drops a fair amount)

Yes, for triode mode, 0.4V steps, with 50V per Horizontal division (plate). 10 mA Vertical per division.
