Hello from Greece! I have a question, for experts of forum. I want to know, the russian tybe, substitution of EL802 tube, or near equivalent.I see in the similar threads, and not found anything! I do not want american substitute, like 12GN7,because i have many russian tubes.I found very interesting french schematic EL802-845SE,looks like very good and simple! 🙂
EL802 is unusual in having high gm (40mA/V) but also high anode-voltage operating range (up to 300V "long term average").
Substitutions are easy enough if the anode voltage of your circuit is 150-170V, and it gets harder as the voltage increases. 6Э5П, as suggested, is good for 250V, and gives about 30mA/V (you get somewhat lower gain).

Sorry for the super late response but I just saw the topic . Anyway if you still experimenting I think the closest tube is 6J52P / 6Ж52П
Specifications and electrical parameters of the lamp 6J52P:
Nominal electrical data:
• Tension of heat, V 6,3 ± 0,6
• Filament current, mA 330 ± 40
• Anode voltage, V 100
• Voltage on the second grid, V 150
• Resistance in the cathode circuit, Ohm 24
• Current in the anode circuit, mA 41 ± 11
• Current in the circuit of the second grid, mA not more than 8
• Slope, mA / V 55 ± 10
• Input impedance, kOm 0.7
• Equivalent noise resistance, Ohm 150
• The current of the first grid is inverse, μA not more than 0.2
Maximum permissible electrical quantities:
• The highest anode voltage, V 250
• The highest voltage on the second grid, V 250
• Maximum power dissipated at the anode, W 7.5
• Maximum power dissipated in the second grid, W 1.2
• Maximum current in the cathode circuit, mA 60
• The highest voltage cathode heater, 200
• The greatest resistance in the chain of the first grid, mOm 0.5

E55L perhaps? or go for P series tube PL802*
*Hard to find NOS, tube production ended before enough stocks where made..
