Hi guys, found myself the happy owner of a set of the Markaudio Woofer no.6/tweeter no.3's also known als the CSS ERT EL-166 and ERT 26. Looking to do a good build with them.
The problems are:
-I can't do math nor design crossovers, I just don't have the time to figure all that stuff out, so I'm going to need a proven design. None of the designs I've found for these drivers mention xo's.
-Most of the stuff I see out there for these drivers is phrased in terms of big honkin' standmounts (often with two or more woofers). I'm not really into that sort of stuff, so smaller designs are welcome.
Thanks in advance for pointing me in the right direction.

The 1st thing i thout to mwntion was the Woden TL for these with the Mark Start XO (which can be used in any case).

I have a sim for an 18 litre miniOnken but have not drawn it up.
BPA has taken down the XO drawing, but i drew my own.

Thanks for the XO drawing, Dave! I found the Woden TL too but it's rather big and I live in a tiny apartment 🙂 I'd happily pay/donate for the miniOnken though.
I dug up an old copy of the original mark start xover and it shows the tweeter cap to be 5.6uf instead of 6.8uf as in your drawing, Dave. Know which one is right?
The BPA image of the XO has 6.8, but at its native resolution it could be read as 5.6.
I have a reply started to your email. Note that that drawing is native imperial.

O.K. I'll admit I had to google "native resolution". On my drawing it's clearly 5.6. Google couldn't help me with "native imperial" though. Folks just don't use that term around these parts. I'm sure your email will clear it up for me. Thanks
Oops- my copy is from oaudio.de. I'd post a link but I got a warning from mozilla. Maybe they misread it.

Hello Lohengrimas,
It's been a while since your original post. Not sure if you have found anything that you want to build yet. I dug around in my files and found a design that I did for a friend about 6 years ago.
The box was vented, 1 cu. ft., and tuned to about 33 Hz. The crossover is a series. Hope this is useful . . . and not too late. 😉
