Eico experts needed: PEC in 2050 driver stage bad

Eico 2050 integrated stereo tube amp: There's a package electronic circuit (PEC) in the driver stage. Mine is not passing signal. Large number is 29754 and above it is a smaller number 1346330. Anyone have a diagram of what's in there?? It has 6 wires coming out of it... Suggestions??

Going on the assumption that Eico used similar parts in various products, this might be some help to or to get a start. Many of these "PCs" were made by Centralab and used in the tone control circuit. If yours is not, try jumping the input to output with a capacitor and see if you can get sound to come through. This is from an Eico HF81.

Crispy -- Another thought to consider is that so much of the "Classic" series of Eico amplifiers was basically a stripped down, but otherwise identical version of the the previous "ST" series of amplifiers. In your case, the 2050 is nothing more than a refinement of the ST-40. Since your PEC is in the driver stage of the power amp, I would bet that likely it is nothing more than the ST-40 power amp circuit using the electronic package for economy, versus discrete components as used in the ST-40. Worst case, you could hardly go wrong simply copying the ST-40 circuit in placed of the defective PEC. Good luck with it!
