Effective Mass of a SL1210 tonearm

Would the effective mass of the tonearm include the headshell weight?
I guess not as it would make it a very low mass tonearm, but I’m in doubt.

It's 12g including the standard Technics headshell.
That's medium mass, a bit higher than e.g. Rega and SME.

Hi,
The Rega RB2/300 tonearms work well with the 1200/1210's, not sure if I would DJ with them though.
