Edit post not working

I am unable to edit any posts i make an error on . I know you only have limited time but whilst the edit option is shown if i click on it i just get a loading icon spinning and nothing else happens . Thanks in advance .

Still the same Cal prob my ancient browser i'm not even going to say what i access the net with cos people will point and laugh 🙂 guess i 'll just have to try harder not to make mistakes thanks for reply.

Try disabling javascript! This forum works without javascript, for what i thank you!

Try hitting F5 to refresh the page, then try to edit.

Thanks for suggestions tried them but still no joy ... i give up now guess its time to go shopping for a new pc 🙂

You can report the post (red triangle under the posters name) and have a Moderator make the changes for you.

I regularly get the spinning icon.
It seems to be a "waiting" for more downloads from advertising sites.

I don't know why they take so long to find and download.

Thanks Andrew that could be it then ads take forever to load sometimes unfortunately i have a short attention span so i don't wait for more than a couple of minutes when attempting an edit before giving up.

This morning while posting to ONE Thread there was a long delay waiting for the post to arrive. Then it finally came back and said thanks for posting and at the bottom of my screen it said "waiting for diyaudio.com..."
then I gave up waiting and clicked back to go to a new Thread.

This time the delay was somewhere in DIYaudio and not the adverts.

Guess i was just impatient . Just got edit working on the 15 song album thread by repeatedly bashing the edit icon 🙂
