This can run in more loss voltage, and more security.
I see this ecc84 is good for work whit 12k5 (space charge) in low volts.
For example 25-30 volts. In all the circuit except filaments ofcourse

I bought 6N14P a while ago but I just finally used them today. I am running them at 140V, 8ma, with 510 Rk.

Operating Point
Agree with Kodabmx, I have operated the 6N14P at a similar point: Vpk = 120V, Vgk = -3V Ip = 10mA into a 20k load resistor with very little distortion. Sounded nice too. I have also found that you need to search for good tubes as far as noise and microphonics are concerned, but this ok as they were cheap. Nice alternative to a 12AU7.
