Ebay deals to pass along...etc.

I'm just curious, what kind of lumen & contrast ratio are you guys able to output with these DIY projectors you're tinkering with? One of the above auctions ended at $187. Seems like you can pickup a used infocus SVGA projector for less than $400? Certainly there are other older svga pj's that would sell for even less? Why not just buy a full blown projector?

LMAO! Haha! Ok, who's auction is that? It's pretty obvious it's someone here.

Anyways, good idea Z. I sometimes find good deals that I have no intention of bidding on.

Well with our current designs we are around 10,000 lumens with 1500:1 contrast ratio. With alot of room for improvement.

Property, Do you mean that we as DIY'ers can make something this good? I havent even seen a light that can make 10,000 after the lcd or a 1500-1 contrast ratio on any lcd monitor, do you know something I dont? Im confused.

Because that model is worth thousands and is one of the newest ones. But what he doesnt tell them is its not actually possible to just buy it for 200$, and if you google up the model and "200$" you will find the webpage. It actually says you will be entered in a drawing for it if you buy their ebook. Unless he is referring to a different site, (doubtfull) then it atleast has to be a matrix list.

projector

i know that same url that he is using. i tried to sell it to make big bucks but ebay kept cancelling my auctions. if you want it just e-mail me. and yes you really can get it. it's not a drawing. everybody he puts in 200 bucks gets that projector.

its a matrix scam, you give em a small percent of the item price (200$ of 10,000$ projector price) and you get your name put on a list, then other people do the same thing and when your name gets to the top of the list (after enough other people have paid and had their names put on the list) they send you a projector. Then your name gets taken off and the next person under you gets one.. and so on. But in the end when they stop doing it alot of people end up ripped off. But if you get in quick or it keeps going then you dont have anything to worry about, but you do have to wait a couple months to get the item.

And probably too many people know about it now for it to be a good idea outside of your church volunteer group.

Pyramid schemes work great if you have a mafia hit man to enforce them or you are running them out of your local church (in which case it's probably being run for a good cause).

LOL I dont recall any Pyramid schemes being run outa my church, Is that a MORMON thing???????????? LOL No Im just joking Geese I have no beefs with any one. Well besides property, hes from CANADA, our fiendly neiborhood State to the north # 51 LOL

Why would anyone want to live in Canada!?! Clean air, no murders, free health care. What a terrible place. Wait a minute, that actually sounds nice.... except for all of the hockey. Hehe, one of our teams is here in SoCal is whooping everyone and nobody here even cares. I guess hockey teams named after Disney movies is a bad idea.

But to stay on topic..... uhhhhhh, ebay, yeah. Good stuff on ebay. Actually, I did see something interesting. There were a few frame-grabbers for less than $500 bucks (they're usually like $5000 new).
