Ebay deals to pass along...etc.

It's not video, but...

there have been several articles in European electronics magazines (yes we do read them here in stanky NJ) dealing with low frequency receivers -- there are a couple of HP 3586C receivers up for sale by Reliable End Mill (good guys, btw) --

the 3586 covers 50 HZ to 32.5 MHz, the dynamic range is incredible - you could use it as a VLF receiver, ham band receiver, selective level meter, a.m. receiver, sideband , cw etc. -- and the price is probably going to be around $100 for an instrument which sold for the price of a car when new.

some of these units have an ultra-stable ovenized XO -- mine does and I use it to drive my RF signal generator and HP5334B frequency counter.

For those in europe here is a very small 6.4" 800x600 panel, made by sharp (apparently the best lcd makers), they also sell controllers to suit it for 120 euros, a cable to connect the lcd for 8 euros and a 12v transformer for 18 euros, they also sell other things for projection as well. It also will not need any kind of stripping (looking at the pics). Oh I wish I found this before I bought a lilliput, oh well, I could still buy one eventually.

any idea what panel would be inside a CTX EzPro 580? I just bought one off of ebay with a blown bulb for $130 w/ shipping and am hoping to either fashion a new light engine or rip it apart into a new enclosure. It's supposed to be 6.4" SVGA native (XGA compressed) with CR of 200:1.
