Looking for experience with the remote volume control kits sold using Alps pots.
Are they real or fake Alps pots and how have they performed for you?

For that price probably fake Alps pots, that said they work. I've used two of them in preamp builds, one I change the as fitted pot with a genuine Alps pot, the second one used the pot that came with, can't tell the difference.

No worries, forgot to mention these will run off 6.3v DC, they may run off 6.3v AC though haven't played with them for a while, the supply is floating as regards the pots in/outs.
