Hello all. I just want to introduce myself, as this is my first post. It seems like you have a nice community here that has helped a lot of people. It feels nice to be here amongst a lot of helpful people. So many forums nowadays are ridden with Flamers and other similar posters.
Now, on to business:
I recently purchased a new PSOne LCD screen as I had heard that they were excellent in making dirt-cheap projectors. I have seen that you can make one by placing the screen on top of an overhead with a fan to cool it, but would like to go projector-style with it.
So, what I would like to ask is: is there a VERY beginner (emphasize VERY) tutorial on building a projector out of a small screen (more specifically PSOne if possible) that you could link me to or post a brief runthrough of it? I have seen various tutorials here, but many of them seem to be over a poor Xbox-modder's head. I would appreciate if this tutorial not only explained WHAT to do, but WHY I'm doing each step.
If possible, it would be nice if it had cheap links to the materials as well from reliable vendors.
I thank you VERY much for your help!

Projector Style ?
do you mean small and compact, in 1 box instead of stacked on OHPI have seen that you can make one by placing the screen on top of an overhead with a fan to cool it, but would like to go projector-style with it
Re: Projector Style ?
Yes, sir, I do. I don't need it to be TINY, just not TOO large.
I would also like the materials to be relatively inexpensive.
