An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
From the shelf to the thermostat is 60 inches. I was holding the triplet in my hand, the throw was around 15 feet, and there was a large amount of light leakage.Im using a Benq 557s, 12.2 fresnel and triplet from diy labs, and 250w metal halide big bulb. I still have a lot of work to go but these results are encouraging.
For everyone that is using a Benq lcd, what did you do with the plastic films or filters that were inbetween the lcd and backlight?
dont use the films they use and diffuse the light breaking down your intensity and turning the mh into a back light lol u will have atleast 2x the image brightness without them.
