Eagle Libraries. Let's share it?

Hello !!

I can imagine that everyone here that uses Eagle Layout Editor, must create a library that doesn't exists on eagle or that we can't find on the internet. Well...

So I want to propose to the users, to share the libraries, then everyone's life will be easier. We also can make a big ZIP package with all DIY Audio shared libraries and send to Cadsoft, then other eagle users will be able to download it.

What you think?

For example, I couldn't find 12AX7 tube on eagle, a very common tube. I need it's tube socket on board layout. Anyone here have it?

This can turn into a BIG topic, and will be much helpful for everyone here.

All this has been covered earlier I think. I can't tell you the posts right now , but do a search and you will find them. Eagle libraries by members especially for tubes.

Yes, I searched and I found the tube library that I was needing. But my idea is create a big post with all libraries, and it will be like a database for the users, with all libraries in one topic.

How do you put the filament in the schematic on eagle? I can only put the two first schematic drawings, not the filament.

Hope you can see what I'm saying looking at the picture haha.

Use the "Invoke" button to click on your tube part in the schematic and you should be able to manually add the missing filament symbol (it's a bug in the library that it does not appear after you place the second triode symbol)
