My new power amp ('e-Amp') is coming along quite well. The main boards power amp boards have been assembled and the protection and in-rush board has had the s/ware written and debugged. Still a lot of work to do, but it will probably be up and running in about 3 weeks. I'll post circuits, more pictures and a full write-up once testing is complete. There is a very small write up on my website below in the interim.

BTW, compensation is selectable using jumpers for either standard MC, TMC, or a hybrid comp scheme I've called WB-TMC.
Looks neat....
Apparently , a symetrical differential design.....That s great if true. 🙂
Those are very rare.

Very nice Nico - yes, I like this layout as well - great for spreading the heat and clamping the devices to the h/sink.
This e-Amp is running off +-73V (actually a bit on th high side, but it can live with it) and I am using a ripple eater on the pos and neg supplies to the front end.
I have a 50 odd page write -up I'll stick up on my site once the nit is assembled and tested - still need a few more weeks though.

@Bonsai: Look very good! I'm very interested.
Can you show the schematic and spec? (THD, Slew rate, BW... ect...?)

That look just too professional to be homemade!!

Ha ha. Lol
No, the boards are made by a PCB house, but everything else is home made. I even file th holes in h chassis. This week end maybe it is wired up completely!
