I am interested in starting a Dynaudio Myrage project. I have scans but they are not good enough to read the cabinet dimensions or component values for the crossover. There have been some links around for Dynaudio plans, but the ones I have found are broken. Does anyone have a good scan of the plans you would share with me? Thank you very much.

Hi,
Sure. But it´s to big to post, so you´ll have to shoot me a PM with your email address.
From where will you get the drivers?
Best regards

Have fun! Those drivers have been NLA for likely 20 years now.
You might be able to source their automotive (and likely improved) drive units. Volvo used Dynaudio a lot and some junkyards might still have them in clunkers.
Get ready to spend a lot of money!

Hi Ben,
A quick search showed 1 pair of 24W100 available (Used Dynaudio 24W-100 for Sale | HifiShark.com) and several D-76 (Used Dynaudio D-76 for Sale | HifiShark.com), sadly (for you...) all in Europe. This, however, tells me that with some money and patience it should be possible to collect the original drivers, leaving foam suspension issues apart for the moment. I was a bit shocked when I checked the T-330 prices though... IIRC it wasn´t THAT much in it´s time...
Good luck and all the best

Esotar tweeters were never cheap, and easily about $300, IIRC. The Esotar mid was a lot more.

The esotar mids M560 were around $790 a pair.
I have 3 pair M560 with Esotar T330 tweeters for left , right, and center WMTMW
along with 24w75 and 17W75s for woofers
The rears use D260, D76, 24w100 like the Myrage without the Esotar tweeter
The sides are D260 / 17w75

One does, of course, have to pick the most expensive items from the catalogue. 🙂 Thank you for sharing it.
It will take me quite some time to move this project forward, so hopefully the drivers will come up at prices that are sort of reasonable. They are getting older and more rare so at some point substitutes may have to be identified. While the original components were excellent, it would be an interesting project in itself to try to find substitutes that actually work. That project might be interesting and very frustrating.
Car components have been mentioned. Does anyone know how similar the car components are to the hi-fi speaker components? I have had the experience in the past where the components look about the same but are internally very different.
