Hi
Ive tryed an old thread on this topic, but ill make a new one since I've found out some things and need more specific answers!
Im working on a really beaten up and abused echo, it was in a bad condition. After a little cleaning a replacing of components, the preamp works fine, but no echo so far.
It wears traces of being dropped, several resistors where broken, and some other components broken, splittet. New tubes and capacitors, new tape loop.

This is the best diagram online.
Ive replaced all eletrolytic capacitors, and testet the most resistors, and will replace he ceramics as well.
The transformer (choke?) dcn 601 is broken. I can't tell weather its a choke or transformer. To me it looks like its driving the tape heads. I can't find DC on the upper side. Its should be 127000 mv (127 volts/dc) and 650000 (65/dc). In should be 240 DC. Its a little high voltage on my unit. I do measure ac between the leads and earth on up-side, but its like 250v.
Some ones what i can replace it with? examples or what to look for. My knowledge and experience on this kind of problems are low- to zero!
Transformer dcn 602, seems to work but is psychical broken, the rod that keeps it in place is broken. Its plastic. So, what does that transformer, and what could i replace it with!
