Hi guys,
it would be nice if someone can help me with this powermixer. It was a gift from my dad, and unfortunately does not work anymore. I`m trynig to repair it just to keep memory of him alive since last year when he passed away. So if someone can help with service manual or shematics of Amp section (mixer is ok) thaks in advance and best regards.

Service docs for the ES1260 here:

I'm just guessing the 1260 is a big 620; more/less input strips, more/less power amp power. The circuits may be similar or even identical.
That's a lot of complicated stuff in a small package. I would not try to repair it. If the front-end works as far as External Amplifier jacks, I'd get a basic power amp at the used rock-amps store and enjoy it as is.

wow that's a really old mixer amp (circa 1970's)
and just a guess here but seeing as how the inputs are all 1/4 inch it might be designed for high impedance mic's (think Unidyne III and the like) which limits it's usefulness.
as a sentimental piece i understand your desire to repair it....is it in fact a power amp problem? any DC on the output? or just no signal?

Hi again,
turk 182 & thanks for your help earlyer, you did help me on another ocasion repairnig also with one of the mixers i think.
It is PA amp problem i belive on input side because sound is dropping down in a moment and then when i level up it returns back... It has a NE5534 OP on input and a few caps, i`ll check them one by one later... You`re right it is about my age mixer 🙂 and there is no value for anyone else but me...
P.S.
It has 6 mike inputs and two of them has also option for instruments. I have checked direct amp input avoiding mixing section and a problem is present just there.

well without being there i would say that your looking at a problem that stems from bad interstage coupling caps and oxidized contacts on switching jacks.
the fact that raising/shifting levels affects operation is what leads me to believe that caps and oxidization is at play.
please confirm that the speaker outputs do not have any significant DC on them.

I agree with you about all you said... and i can confirm that there is no problem with DC on outputs, actualy sounds very good(when it works)... To be honest i did not clean those plugs contacts, thanks for help...

if cleaning doesn't fix the signal dropout then looking for faulty caps at the input stage would be in order.
So i have solve it, it took time but i have made it ... Input stage was ok bcouse i have tested it without preamp(it has insert plugs in power amp so i connected other preamp and the problem persist. So i cleaned pots, recap and voila it`s back again, sounding great! Thanks turk 182 for your help, best regards, and marry Xmas to everyone!
