That amplifier was BUTCHERED by a previous owner but since it got all the EXPENSIVE caps that´s all that matters, why worry with listening tests or measurements?
Hi, Yes your right, I've read that valves with a higher voltage reading over the manufactures recommend operating voltage will have shorter life.
I didn't pay much for the amp and I'm so impressed with how the amp sounds, that I'm thinking of selling some of my vintage hifi to buy a better quality high end valve amp. Regards Rob

Thanks turk, Yes I wondered if my Multimeter was upto the job, I won the meter in a compaction.Lol the amp does work fine and does sound fantastic, the valves dont appear to be red plating either. So will order a new meter. Thanks
This video shows exactly what my amplifier valve bios settings should read, could be my multi meter, not sure what the guy in the video make of Multimeter he is using, but looks better quality than mine.
