Install protective resistances in series with the supply, also fuse to speaker, and do that before powering the amplifier on...this will save you if something result wrong, alike transistors inverted, or other normal human errors.

I have a hard copy of Nordic's protection module instructions. I should be able to scan it in a day or so. What voltage are you using? For 63 V DC R8 is 20k & R4 43k.
Nordic delivered my boards without problem. I have not finished building yet. Procurement took a long time, several months for toroidal transformers. The other main factor is laziness.

Geen rede om jammer te wees nie. Ek was baie tevrede met die groepkoop en ondersteuning van Nico. Sover ek weet is daar net een ou wat nie sy borde gekry het nie. Ek is 'n geplante Boer hier in ons mooi land.
Try with an older or test speaker first. So far I have always tested for ofsett first, the set bias and then used a test speaker with current limiter connected and low volume.

I havent heard from anybody else that didnt receive their boardbuys except for AndrewT. Maby a postal error that could have been resolved by Nico if he was still around. I have offered to give Andrew a pair of PCB's but he is not anymore interested. I think the matter is resolved.

I think you may find that Nico has had some sort of mishap occur. I can't see him going from having a big interest in this forum and DIY audio, to none at all. To me, it would seem clear that his health issues may have started to take their toll (although I have no evidence to back that up).
Forum members have attempted to contact him to enquire about his wellbeing for some time now, with no contact evident.
While I would be pretty annoyed too, as 200 quid is a lot of money to me, please bear this in mind Andrew. I know what it's like to have a traumatic health event.

The plans, schematics, layouts..are all there...published, so, if you really want to build you can do it.... or at least, i believe you can...

I hope you have some document to prove to Nico (not to me) you have sent the money....this may be needed, as he used to forget things...was one of the consequences of his disease...so...he may not remember...a document will make him remember.

I just re-read the thread where you jumped in with your account of your misfortunes with Nico. I can see that you would like to drop this subject because Nico wronged you if your account is accurate. But, you grossly misrepresented and false accused Carlo.
All of us on this thread were sorry about your loss and Carlos was clearly embarrassed and very simpathetic about it. But it was a transaction between you and Nico, so why did you choose to accuse Carlos of what are clearly nonsense statements on your part?

But this is very old...related Andrew and me... he always sent bombs to me...maybe i remember, maybe i look alike someone made something bad to him.... oh sorry...not really bombs sent, when i have complained one moderator said was not bomb, was a challenge......i could laugh if that was not so sad to listen.
I do not know what goes inside people's heart...all i know is what goes inside mine.
Some chapters in our life..... are so sad to remember that i think it is better to try to forget (that challenge was so scandallous that i could not).... maybe Andrew has hate in his heart..but this will consume himself, not me.....because of that stuff i do not hate him..i feel pitty he lost all that money and the fun to have those boards to test.... i hope with the focus on qualities and not into non perfect points.

This is something very bad that is turning very normal into our forum...a pitty that.... worse than a single clone of every amplifier, not you have multiple cloning..the clone of the clone, and the clone from the clone from the clone.... future you gonna have hundreth clone generation of Leach, Quasi, and many amplifiers.
People are needing to use their creativity..only copying we will be only with 10 main base schematics and hundreds of variations around the same theme.
