DVR / TV Tuner Cards

I'd like to start a discussion about TV tuner cards, more specifically DVR cards. Since projection TV is just one part of many of our grand "Home Theater" plans, I think this is a valid thread here in the video forum.

I'm interested in the Hauppauge WinTV PVR-350 mainly for it's input/output options and ability to pause live TV (TiVo functionality). My main criteria is picture quality (since your always watching TV through your computer) and since the 350 has hardware MPEG compression, I bet it is acceptable.

I've got WinTV Go. The quality is about the same as on your average TV. The mpeg recorder flickers like hell and only one channel can be viewed / recorded at once (which surprised me for some reason)

I'm glad I didn't buy the more expensive setup with the remote control.
