I need to replace a laser pickup of a portable DVD player (the manufacturer is Shinco).
Does anyone knows where could I buy one.
I have already tried the manufacturer but there is no answer until now.

Youre done , even if you could find it it would not be worth it
most people only replace pickups under warrenty and they come as one assy with sled and spindle motors. Have you tried cleaning it ?

Yes, I cleaned it.
I´m in contact with the manufacturer and he said I have to send the unit to fix it.
It´s a little bit difficult for me (I´m living in Brazil and manufacturer is in Anaheim, CA).
