Hi
I built a square wave function generator, see image. It will be used on a LC parallel circuit. I need to come up with a design that will automatically self tune on the resonance frequency by sensing the lowest amp used from the power source.
This may require a feedback amp signal to some kind of a circuit which then controls the a variable capacitor, variable resistor 1 or variable resistor 2 in the image attached. however the images does not have variable values units.
Could any one kindly suggest a good solution?
Many Thanks

Here's a way to do what you'd like to do. L1 and C1 are the tank circuit that you're testing. The rest of the stuff is essentially a negative impedance synthesizing circuit. You could also recognize this all as a pretty standard oscillator.
The LTSpice circuit should run just fine. Note that the start up settings are a little special to get the oscillation to show in the simulation. The running frequency of the circuit is the resonant frequency of the tank.
