I know this will sound dumb but I don't understand how I am supposed to wire up the input for the two 6.5 woofers on the following project. It's the box around the first 1.5 ohm resistor, could someone explain it to me?

The "box" is not a box and does not concern the woofers but the tweeter. It`s the tweeters notch filter as described in the text. The filter is made of three devices in parallel, the 1,5 Ohm resistor, a 5µF capacitor and a 0,15mH inductor.
gotcha, I understand completely now it's just the first time doing a real crossover and I just wasn't sure

The woofer circuit starts with the "+ Input" wired to the .41 mh inductor (.45 mh in the parts list). The + Input also feeds the tweeter circuit explained above.
