I built a pair of Duets about 8 months ago
I used 3/4" birch play
15" Silver Iris drivers
15" Auggies
It took a long time for the drivers to bed in but now very happy with them
The next issue to overcome is the bass the drivers oscilate with deep electronic bass and I think its down to the baffles needing a bit more ridgity
I also will seperate the crossover from the bafle and keep them isolated but not made up my mind yet
I might add some weight to the bottom also to urther add stabilty
The Duet is such a simple design to work with and boy do they rock
