Dual TO-3 OPA541!! Called 2541

Hey, guys.
I was looking at all the OPA541 links listed in this thread:

http://diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=200828#post200828

and I noticed that one of the Burr Brown application notes used an OPA2541 in a circuit. I totally flipped! I love the idea of using a dual package version of any of the OPA series in a balanced Gainclone a-la Mad_K's circuit:

Then I downloaded the PDF of that part from the Burr-Brown website:

http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/productfolder.jhtml?genericPartNumber=OPA2541

and saw the message that it was now obsolete and wasn't recommended for new designs.
Well, I was bummed, but I persisted, and found a direct replacement for it here:

Now, I don't know if it's the as good as the Burr-Brown products, but it's worth a looksee. Any thoughts?

That chip is probably made on licence from TI. Ie it's the same. I've had some problems with opa541 in my later "regular" GC -heavy distortion in the upper parts of the audible spectrum; can't seem to get rid of it (opa548/9 are fine in the exact same setup). I set the gain to 30dB, but since the opa548/9 has even lower GBW, I don't understand it (and I don't have a scope yet) 🙁
