Dual output pocket headphone amp

Hi all!

I'm a brand new member with a really limited understanding of basic electronics. I'm looking for a simple project to get me started and I think a pocket headphone amp with dual outputs and separate volume pots for each would be cool?

I plan on basing it around 1/2 9v PP3 batteries, other than that I have no clue where to start...
