In order to verify that the Eminence Kilomax will work you'll have to model it in WinISD and see the resulting frequency response.
Ok thanks for the plans! If I may ask a couple of questions please? I am not understanding what you've written above, I am not technically sound when it comes to this, I was thinking I get a friend who is good with carpentry to build a cab like this with the dimensions given, put 2 woofers in and that's that?
No, you can not interchange drivers between B&C 15PS100 and Eminence Kilomax Pro-15A (this is the easy answer). Let's say you want to use an enclosure or driver if you want to start there, or start with some specs for the final sound result what is it you want to this project?! If a lot different (many posts) better start a new thread... 😀Hello, I am looking into building my own dual 15 reflex cab, I looked at Joseph's link for I am not seeing the plan for this cab, can you help please? Also, since this is a BNC design, would I be able to other woofers like Eminence kilomax Pro?
I am looking into getting a Bass cab which will give a little more "punch" that the double 18" I have right now, I don't want a folded horn design since I don't want the bass to throw too far, I remember approx 20 years ago Altec had a double 15" design with curved edges which gave a nice punch when put together with a double 18 bass reflex but I can't find that design anymore so I am looking for a simple cab design which if I cannot get a used one locally then I can try to find the specs and make it myself? I've been told about these 2 below but cannot find plans for them so I am looking into any other cab which will work for my application.
Also, I have 2 kilomax 15's already just need a cab for them so that's my story.

mikehende,
Your link Community V2-215S DUAL 15-INCH SUBWOOFER SYSTEM
No you can not use it (or change drivers). As I said is the easy answer.
For that sub you have:
Dimensions of the enclosure are defined as 18.4 in. (468 mm) H x 37.4 in. (950 mm) W x 20.4 in. (518 mm) D for 18mm ply what gives ~190L, meaning 95L for each driver.
Eminence Kilomax Pro-15A needs bigger enclosure. I would say 240/250L minimum for internal net (2x drivers).

Oh I see, alright, if I need to get the specific woofers for any cab I should decide to use then I will do so, thanks.
Eminence gives cab suggestions
the kilomax 15 Doesnt do much below 50 though :/

well remember I need some "punch" so it's more mid or high bass I will need and as mentioned I don't need to use the eminence, if I get a good suitable cab I will get whatever woofers are recommended for that cab. I am just wondering if myself and my carpenter friend would be able to build the BNC 2x15 cab mentioned.
If you need midbass, the desig on the bottom with 4 6" round ports should be simple enough to build.... Basically a box, mild reinforcement added.
You mean the community VS-215S?
mikehende,In the link i posted. the last design in the pdf supplied by eminence
If you want to use the previous design for reference (VS-215S) just substitute the dimension 20.4 in. (518 mm) D with 23 5⁄8 in. (600 mm) and you end up with ~220L internal net required by the Eminence pdf for the 2xKilomax15 2x15 PA Subwoofer Cabinet as sine143 mentions.
mikehende, (edit)
I guess they say to use the net internal total V(total) = 8.755 cu.ft/248L to include the 4x6in. vents and drivers.
Note: making the use of a different ply, different reference dimensions are required.
Having in mind what was said about F3=47/48Hz for such monster.

Make previous size with dimension 665 mm = 26 3⁄16 in. in the place of D.mikehende,
