From Vifa, Peerless and Scan-Speak (later DST, currently Thympany, there are a wide range of speakers in this kind (i. e. with wide suspension for the cone resp. dome) on the marked.
Unfortunatly a lot of models uses Ferrofluid. Additional a lot of versions uses the revolutionary ring radiator design with centered phase plug like this model:
http://www.scan-speak.dk/datasheet/pdf/r2904-700000.pdf
Both features are very bad for good sound quality (at least from my own view).
Therefore I am looking for versions without this features.
Without the revolutionary ring radiator design (with centered phase plug) I have
found this versions (actually there must be many other models in this kind):
Scanspeak D2604/833000 Tweeter - Vifa DX25TG05-04 replacement
http://www.scan-speak.dk/datasheet/pdf/d2604-833000.pdf
Scanspeak D2604/830000 Tweeter (Ferrofluid yes or no?)
http://www.scan-speak.dk/datasheet/pdf/d2604-830000.pdf
Vifa-Peerless DX25TG09-04 (Ferrofluid yes or no?)
http://www.tymphany.com/files/DX25TG09-04 Rev 1_0.pdf
Vifa-Peerless DX25TG05-04 (Ferrofluid yes or no?)
http://www.troelsgravesen.dk/Peerless_HDS830860_files/DX25TG.pdf
Vifa-Peerless XD-270F-4 (Version for ASE, Germany)
www.lautsprechershop.de/pdf/vifa/vifa_dbxd270f_4.pdf
I want to know all versions from loudspeakers in this kind without ferrofluid (same sizes, but with iron/steel die resp. face plate (instead such from plastic) so as other voice coil DC resistances like 8Ω and 16Ω).
Best thanks for advices.

The latest data sheet of the DX25TG09-04 mentions a "ferrofluid-cooled voice coil". The DX25TG05-04 is the former version of the DX25TG09-04 and is basically the same. The XD 270F/4 is just the german name of the Vifa DX25TG05-04. The ASE data sheet mentions "dünnflüssiges, hochbeständiges Fluid"" as well.
There is an old Seas tweeter line sold in Germany as NoFerro XXXX, which definitely do not have ferrofluid, but most of them are out of production.

Dont minde the magnetic oil, make sure all other data is as you like, because it is easy to clean out of the magnetic gap for magnetic oil, with smalle pieces of coffe filter paper.
Just keep in mind a lot of bad tweeters are filled with magnetic oil to diguise, that they make rub´n & buzz sounds, so you may end op with such a unit, after the clean out of oil, but it usually, is only a problem if you run the tweeter unusually hard at low frequences. I good skandinavian made tweeter should not be problematic in this regard. How vifa peerless is made now a days I dont know....
