So could someone explain me how we use dsp. I've just ordered a minidsp board 2x4 so if I understand correctly you place it between source signal and amp? Dsp adjust-eq and split-crossover the signal from L+R to L+R woofer and L+R tweeter...so we get 4 signals. That means we need two stereo amps?

If you intend to use it as a crossover, you need 4 amplifier channels to make a 2 way stereo system.
You can use it for loudspeaker or room correction in a normal stereo setup with a regular stereo amplifier Connected as in your post.
