for all the DSP GURUS ..
i can't conceive that there isn't a software/plugin/driver/filter
that was designed with loudspeaker management in mind for windows ..
i've been searching for 2 weeks now, and found only partial answers, that do alter sound only on a few selected sources ..and dind't include crossover and output redirection 🙁
what i'd like to do, and i am sure that alot of people here would like to do the same ,
is the same kind of operations that are done on expensive units
such as : DEQX, BSS FDS.. LAKE CONTOUR and all
but in windows, using whatever asio/wdm/mme necessary
alter all the output of sound from whatever source
( even only beeing able to do it for direct X would be nice )
and the needed operations would be :
Crossover( with at least 4th order + steep ), param EQ,room corrections, phase/delay adjustments, and output redirection
( like taking a stereo sound, and outputting the tweeter on the surround outs of my 8 channel sound card )
do you guys know of anything that already exists ?
only doing crossover for all outputted sound would be already nice! 🙂

The DSP for most of your list is actually fairly elementary - the tough part is getting all that stuff to talk with inputs and outputs while not getting hosed with latency or dropouts if Windows decides it's a fine time to start spanking the disk.
If someone has a solution to that problem we should talk.
