I still have a ZAP Filter 2 somewhere, that I never installed in a player.
No I own the Denon DVD 2900 which has 3 DAC's (why 3?) DSD1790 installed, and LC AUdio wasn't able to tell me how to connect the ZAP Filter.
Has anybody got an idea?
Thanks,
Dan

ZAP Filter
Hi C37,
I thought to sell it one day, if not used.
It is complete with its power supply and toroidal transformer.
I have also the LC clock XO2, with 45.1584 Mhz frequency; it is suitable for some Sony players (mine was intended to be build in a Sony SCD-777 ES, which I dont have anymore).
The LC clock also comes with its power supply, but it has a 115V transformer, because I bought it in the US 2 years ago.
Both ZAP filter and CL clock PSU PCB'S have been C37 varnished, but not the mainboards. I intended to do that once all was installed and working.
I started to install all of these into my SCD-777, but the player failed to work
; then I bought the Denon (which tweaked suprisely sounds better that the Sony), but I didn't had time to install the LC Audios in it.
The PSU boards show some mounting scratches on the holes, the mainboards have never been screwed our mounted.
All should work perfectly and is like new.
Acording to LC Audio, the Quartz of the XO2 can be changed to a specific player's frequency.
If you'rev interested in some of the items (or all), let's get in contact.
Where are you located? What language?
I'll be absent from monday to wednesday night.
Cheers,
Dan

Yes-sold
Hi nick,
Yes, I bought the zap, together with the clock... have installed the clock but not the zap yet. Very worthwhile improvement so far. Answering for alfetta, he sold the Sony a while ago.
sorry...

Well, C37 was faster than me, and yes all gear is gone.
I'm happy that C37 got the ZAP and Clock, still waiting for a report of results...
By the way, the Sony was a great player, but some improvement have been done since... already a SCD 555 ES (european single disk version) was partically as good, with some tweaking.
But check the newer Sony players, cheaper and better.
Rgds,
Dan
