Hello,
is there any easy way to backup my user presets of driverack 260? I guess that once the bios battery dies, all are gone. I am deciding between writing all settings on paper as a backup and finding out what this outdated parallell interface on back of DR 260 can do. I do not even have a computer where I could connect this to, so I d need some kind of USB converter... oh boy...

Directly connected to a computer is the only way to get anything on or off the box, so yes you need to figure that out. There are USB so DB9 serial converters available but you will also need a crossover cable between the converter and driverack as specified in the owners manual.
I guess writing down settings by hand is less hassle and maybe less time-consuming than trying to get that weird interface to do anything useful. Great DSP - awful connection.
Is there any "low bat" warning at least? Or can it happen suddenly at any time that I lose all presets?
